About Kim
Kim Le Sambolec is an international skin specialist, beauty columnist and founder of Skin Wellness Academy. She’s also a woman who battled with cystic acne as a teenager. Who dreaded going out in public and suffered from severe anxiety as a result.
Born in a small village in the Mekong Delta, brought to an Indonesian refugee camp at just 4 years old and subsequently moved to Australia, her younger self endured a lot. Which manifested itself into severe skin breakouts and other illnesses in my adult life. And it’s only when I began to heal myself from within that the real shift happened.
Kim cleaned up her diet, brought self-reflection and meditation into her life and addressed her long-repressed emotions. Once she combined these internal factors with external factors like taking care of her skin and her environment, the transformation was complete.
Friends began to remark about Kim’s incredible skin, that it was like she glowed – me, the person who’d battled with cystic acne! – all because she’d healed herself from inside out.
