One of the biggest mistakes I see business owners making is creating lead magnets…

And then hiding them.

They spend hours creating a free guide, checklist, webinar, template or resource.

And then wonder why nobody is downloading it.

Well…

If nobody knows it exists, it can’t collect email addresses.

1️⃣ Your Lead Magnet Needs Visibility

Creating a lead magnet is only half the job.

The other half is making sure people can actually find it.

Because a lead magnet that nobody sees is just a document sitting alone on the internet.

If you want more leads, more subscribers and more potential customers, you need to actively promote it.

2️⃣ Create a Simple Link Page

One of my favourite marketing assets is a link page.

You’ve probably seen tools like Linktree before.

That’s essentially what a link page is.

A simple page that contains all of your important links in one place.

Mine includes:

• Free resources
• Programs
• Memberships
• Blog articles
• Social media profiles
• Contact information

Everything lives in one location.

Which means whenever somebody asks where they can learn more, I only have to give them one link.

Simple.

3️⃣ Put Your Link Page Everywhere

Your link page should be one of the hardest-working assets in your business.

Add it to:

• Your social media bios
• Your email signature
• Your presentations
• Your business cards
• Your podcast interviews
• Your webinar slides

Anywhere people discover you should point back to a place where they can continue the journey.

4️⃣ Update Your Bios Today

This is one of the easiest wins you’ll ever get.

Yet so many people ignore it.

I regularly visit someone’s profile and have absolutely no idea:

• What they do
• Who they help
• How they help
• How to contact them

Don’t make people guess.

Your bio should clearly say:

“This is who I am.”

“This is who I help.”

“This is what I help them achieve.”

“And here’s where to find out more.”

That’s it.

Simple clarity creates conversions.

5️⃣ AI Is Now Sending Free Traffic

This is where things get really exciting.

For the first time in business history, we have a new source of free traffic.

AI.

More and more people are finding businesses through tools like ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude.

In fact, many business owners are now seeing AI platforms show up as traffic sources inside their analytics.

Think about that for a second.

People are asking AI:

• Who’s the best business coach?
• Who’s the best consultant?
• Who’s the best provider?
• Who’s the best company for this service?

And AI is recommending businesses.

The question is:

Will it recommend yours?

6️⃣ AI Can’t Recommend You If It Can’t Find You

AI learns from information published online.

The more useful content you publish, the more opportunities AI has to understand:

• Who you are
• What you do
• Who you help
• What topics you’re known for

If you’re invisible online, you’re largely invisible to AI as well.

That’s why content marketing matters more than ever.

7️⃣ Content Is Still One of the Best Marketing Investments

I’ve been creating content for more than 20 years.

And if I look back over my career, the overwhelming majority of opportunities, customers and revenue came from content I published online.

Articles.

Blogs.

Videos.

Workshops.

Podcasts.

Social posts.

Content continues working long after you’ve created it.

And now, thanks to AI search, that content has an even longer lifespan than ever before.

So if you’re creating lead magnets, resources and helpful content, don’t keep them hidden.

Make them visible.

Create a link page.

Update your bios.

Publish consistently.

Because the businesses that AI recommends tomorrow are being built by the content you publish today.
