Google Gemini 3.0, Google AI, Google Antigravity – Google AI is changing the LLM Playing field 

I know we all love ChatGPT, but Google is dropping new updates like it’s already Xmas, and as a lifelong Google super-fan who uses the Google Workspace, I am beyond excited about what’s just arrived:

1. Gemini 3.0 (ChatGPT can’t even compare anymore)

2. Gemini AI-powered internet Browser (turns your internet browsing into a fully interactive EXPERIENCE, with AI personal assistant)

3. Gemini’s new Agent Mode (does complex tasks for you)

4. Google Antigravity (code your own complex  apps and software in seconds – even more wild than Google AI Studio)

5. AI mode in Google search (search results that instruct, train, reason and customise based on your personal business and interests)

WTF are these and why do I have lady-wood over it?? (yes I really typed that, and yes it does mean what you think it does… it’s THAT sexy)…

What is Google AI mode in the Chrome Browser?

This turns your normal Chrome browser into an INTERACTIVE ‘masterclass’ when you ask a question.

It can even create interactive calculators, visual gallery layouts for you to ‘choose next steps’ in the exploring from, and send notes to your other Google apps, grab screenshots from your browser to add to your research and AI assisted browsing.

You can chat to it about a web page or document you are looking at, and it adjusts the interactive dashboard of information right infront of your eyes.

Going back to ChatGPT PRO after this is going to feel like going back to Windows 98 on a broadband dial-up.

What is Gemini 3?

Gemini was already a pretty good contender against ChatGPT’s expensive PRO plan… 

BUT, yesterday when Google updated it to ‘version 3.0’, it moved from ‘on-par’, to absolutely kicking the butt out of ChatGPT (in functionality, performance  -measured by fancy AI-measuring systems; speed and the insane level of things it can do that ChatGPT can only ‘talk’ about.

Gemini 3 is more than just “chat with it and it spits out ideas”. 

It can reason, see/hear/code, work across multiple media and go much deeper. 

According to Google:

• Gemini 3 is their “most intelligent model” yet — better reasoning, better “multimodal” input/output (text + images + video + code). Blog.google+1 
• It’s available across many Google surfaces: the Gemini app, AI Studio, Vertex AI, API access. blog.google+1
  
• They’re introducing a “Deep Think” mode (for very complex problems) — so if you’ve got big strategy, big systems, big tech: this upgrades the playing field. blog.google
  
• And for business owners, coaches, course creators, this means your AI moves from “helpful” to “highly capable partner” in planning, creating, automating, strategising.

• It understands multimedia like never before. You can show it a video, a messy handwritten note, and a spreadsheet all at once, and it connects the dots between them.

Here’s a video showing a little of what the new Gemini 3 can do (note that only the US and PRO plan users have access at the moment (date of publishing this is 19th Nov 2025)… it will roll out to other countries and plans later.

What is ‘Google Antigravity’?

Okay, this sounds like a sci-fi movie, right? But stick with me.

Google Antigravity is basically Mission Control for AI Agents and Apps.

Until now, we’ve mostly used AI as a “chatbot”…  we type, it types back. 

Antigravity changes AI from a “talker” to a “doer.” 

It allows developers to build teams of AI agents that can work together to complete long tasks without you babysitting them.

In simple English: Imagine you tell your AI: “Plan a launch for my new course.”

• Agent A researches the competitors.
• Agent B drafts the emails.
• Agent C writes the code for the landing page.
• Antigravity is the manager ensuring they all talk to each other and get the job done.

It means we can soon hire “AI employees” rather than just using AI tools.

But it also codes apps and software for you in seconds, using just a prompt of text.

So you could just say ‘create an app for me that plumbers can use to easily quote up complex jobs in the field’, and it will make it for you whilst you make a cup of tea.

I have to say, that I think Google AI Studio is more ‘lay person’ friendly for building apps and software – but Antigravity definitely makes Agents and complex functions come together in a way that we’ve never seen before and with a little learning, most tech-newbs could manage to navigate.

What is Agent Mode in Gemini?

In ChatGPT, you have to pay the big dollars for this ($200 USD power month)… now it’s in Gemini (and reportedly more powerful and reliable), included in the higher Google Workspace plans!!

Basically, Agents go and DO TASKS FOR YOU.

Eg, I could press agent mode in Gemini, and ask it to go to Facebook groups I’m in and comment as me to specific posts and specific topics.

Or I could tell it to go and search for upcoming conferences in a specific topic that I could be a speaker at and craft me a proposal customised to that conference, then find the email address and email them my speaker pitch.

Yes, really.

I mean – is this cool, or this this COOOOLLL???
