Can I share one of the simplest marketing strategies that almost every business owner overlooks?

Ask for reviews.

Seriously.

Not next month.

Not when you have more time.

Not when your website is finished.

Today.

Because reviews are one of the most powerful forms of marketing available to you.

Think about it.

If you were looking for a restaurant and had two options:

One has no reviews.

One has 100 reviews.

Which one are you choosing?

Most of us pick the one with reviews.

Not because we’ve personally tested it.

Not because we know the owner.

Not because we’ve compared every detail.

We choose it because other people have already validated it.

And that’s exactly how your customers think too.

Reviews create trust.

Trust creates enquiries.

Enquiries create sales.

It’s really that simple.

The challenge is that most business owners are sitting on years of happy customers and never actually ask them for a review.

So here’s my challenge to you.

Send an email to every past customer you’ve ever worked with.

Thank them.

Ask how they’re going.

And then simply ask if they’d be willing to leave a review about their experience.

That’s it.

No complicated funnel.

No fancy marketing campaign.

Just ask.

If you have a Google Business Profile, send them your Google review link.

If you don’t have one yet, use your Facebook Business Page reviews section.

Either option is better than having no reviews at all.

As AI becomes a bigger part of how people search for products and services, reviews are becoming even more important.

People are already asking AI questions like:

“Who’s the best business coach in my area?”

“Who’s the best accountant near me?”

“Who’s the best builder in town?”

And what do you think AI is looking at?

Reviews.

Reputation.

Social proof.

Authority.

The businesses with strong review profiles are going to have a significant advantage.

Which means every review you collect today is helping future customers trust you tomorrow.
