From Kitchen Table Startup to Multi-Million Dollar Business: My Journey

Let me take you back for a second…

I didn’t come from a business family.
I didn’t grow up surrounded by entrepreneurs.

I came from a world where women weren’t expected to build businesses…

Let alone global ones.

1️⃣ It started at a kitchen table

No plan.
No experience.
No idea what I was doing.

Just a borrowed laptop and a feeling…

👉 “There’s something more than this.”

2️⃣ No one backed me at the start

I told my mum:

“I’m going to start a business”

She said:

“Don’t come to me when it all goes wrong.”

Told my boyfriend the same thing…

Same response.

(They’ve both changed their tune now, by the way.)

3️⃣ I figured it out as I went

I landed government contracts.
Delivered training across Europe.

At one point…

👉 I had to hire my own university lecturer to deliver for me
Because I didn’t even have a team yet.

4️⃣ Then I started all over again

Moved to Australia…

With:

❌ No phone
❌ No laptop
❌ No contacts
❌ No business

Just a suitcase… full of bikinis… in winter. Brilliant.

5️⃣ But that feeling didn’t go away

You know the one…

That pull.
That voice.
That “there’s more for me than this.”

You can ignore it…

But it doesn’t go away.

6️⃣ Fast forward…

Within a handful of years:

✔️ Multi-7 figure business
✔️ $15M company valuation
✔️ 280,000+ students
✔️ Youngest university head in Australian history

Not because I was ready.

But because I decided to go anyway.

7️⃣ Here’s the truth no one tells you

You don’t need:

✔️ Permission
✔️ Support
✔️ The perfect plan

You need:

👉 Belief
👉 Action
👉 And the courage to back yourself before anyone else does
