Let’s be honest.

Most business owners finish a workshop, coaching call, consulting session, speaking gig or client project…

And then move straight onto the next thing.

Big mistake.

Because some of the best marketing you’ll ever create happens AFTER you’ve delivered the work.

This is what I call a FOMO Post.

FOMO stands for Fear Of Missing Out.

Now before anyone gets weird about that…

I’m not talking about manipulating people.

I’m talking about showing people what they missed and what they could achieve too.

And honestly?

Some of my FOMO posts generate more sales than my actual promotional posts.

Why?

Because people don’t just want information.

They want proof.

They want to see that real people are getting real results.

Think about it.

If you see someone attend a workshop and walk away with:

✔️ A completed website

✔️ A new lead magnet

✔️ A marketing strategy

✔️ A sales funnel

✔️ A business plan

✔️ More clarity and confidence

You’re naturally going to think:

“Hang on… I want that too.”

That’s human psychology.

And that’s exactly why FOMO posts work so well.

Every time I run:

✔️ A workshop

✔️ A masterclass

✔️ A Get-It-Done Day

✔️ A coaching session

✔️ A consulting project

✔️ An event

I create a FOMO post afterwards.

Not before.

After.

Because now I have evidence.

Now I have outcomes.

Now I have wins.

Sometimes it’s as simple as:

“Here’s what we accomplished today.”

Then I list:

✔️ What was built

✔️ What was created

✔️ What was learned

✔️ What problems were solved

✔️ What outcomes were achieved

That’s it.

No fancy marketing.

No complicated sales funnel.

Just showing people what’s possible.

One of my favourite ways to do this is by taking the transcript from a workshop, coaching call or client session and asking AI:

“Create a social media post that highlights everything we achieved and shows people what they missed.”

The result?

People immediately see the value.

They see the transformation.

They see the outcome.

And they start asking:

“Can I get access to that too?”

This works incredibly well for:

✔️ Workshop replays

✔️ Memberships

✔️ Consulting services

✔️ Coaching programs

✔️ Strategy sessions

✔️ Speaking events

✔️ Training programs

Because you’re no longer selling a promise.

You’re demonstrating a result.

And here’s the really exciting part…

I’ve often made more money after delivering an event than from the event itself.

Why?

Because the replay sells.

The recording sells.

The next workshop sells.

The next coaching session sells.

The ripple effect keeps going.

So here’s your challenge:

Every time you do a thing…

Create a FOMO post.

Every workshop.

Every client session.

Every speaking gig.

Every consulting project.

Every event.

Show people what happened.

Show people what was achieved.

Show people what’s possible.

Because sometimes your best marketing isn’t the promotion.

It’s the proof.
