One of the biggest mistakes I see business owners making with AI is expecting it to magically understand their business.

It doesn’t.

If you don’t give AI context…

It has to guess.

And that’s why so many people end up with generic content that sounds like everyone else’s.

Here’s what I recommend.

Create a single document that becomes the brain of your business.

I call it your Company Dossier or Marketing Manifesto.

Inside it, include things like:

• What your business does
• Who you help
• Your products and services
• Your pricing
• Your ideal customers
• Your brand voice
• Your goals
• Your strategic plan
• Your values
• Frequently asked questions

Once you’ve created it…

Save it as a Google Doc.

Then, instead of uploading a new version every time you update it, simply give your AI access to the Google Doc link.

That way, whenever you update your document, your AI can reference the latest version.

If you’re using Claude CoWork, I take it one step further.

I ask Claude to create a skill using my Company Dossier.

I also create another skill from my Strategic Plan.

Now every time I ask Claude to write an email, create content, brainstorm ideas or help solve a business problem, it’s already working from the context of my business.

That means:

• Better answers
• Better marketing
• Better strategy
• Better content
• Less prompting
• Less repeating yourself

Think of it like onboarding a new team member.

You wouldn’t expect a new employee to know everything about your business on day one.

You’d give them documentation.

Your AI deserves exactly the same treatment.

The better your documentation…

The smarter your AI becomes.
