Let’s be honest.

Most business owners don’t have a sales problem.

They have a visibility problem.

Because people can’t buy from you if they don’t know you exist.

We’ve all heard the saying:

“No money, no honey.”

I say:

No marketing, no money.

You can have:

✔️ The best product

✔️ The best service

✔️ The best staff

✔️ The best vision

✔️ The best business model

But if nobody knows you exist…

None of it matters.

And here’s the thing.

Most people massively overcomplicate marketing.

They think they need:

❌ Fancy funnels

❌ Expensive ads

❌ A giant team

❌ A huge budget

❌ Perfect branding

No.

What you need is visibility.

You need to get yourself in front of people.

And sometimes that means being a little resourceful.

When I first arrived in Australia from the UK, I had:

❌ No money

❌ No clients

❌ No business

❌ No network

❌ No mobile phone

I literally knew nobody.

But I still had rent to pay.

I still had bills.

I still had to find a way to make money.

So I asked myself a simple question:

“Where are my customers already gathering?”

I discovered there was a conference full of exactly the people I wanted to work with.

Small problem.

The ticket cost $3,000.

I had approximately zero dollars.

So I found another way.

Long story short…

A borrowed internet connection.

A bicycle I found during verge collection.

A conference lanyard handed to me by a bloke called Pete.

And somehow I walked into that conference.

For the next two days everyone thought I was Pete.

It was brilliant.

“Hi, I’m Sarah. Not Pete. Long story.”

I left with 302 business cards.

Within six weeks I landed my first six-figure contract.

A couple of months later that became my first seven-figure contract.

Now before anyone starts riding bicycles up freeways…

That’s not the lesson.

The lesson is this:

Your customers are already somewhere.

They’re already gathering.

They’re already networking.

They’re already attending events.

They’re already hanging out in Facebook groups.

They’re already listening to podcasts.

They’re already consuming content.

Your job is to go and stand where they are.

Because opportunities rarely knock on your door.

You usually have to go and find them.

And when you do find them…

Please remember something important.

Marketing without a call to action is just a hobby.

Every piece of marketing you create should answer:

👉 What do you want people to do next?

👉 Join your email list?

👉 Book a call?

👉 Download a lead magnet?

👉 Watch a webinar?

👉 Join your membership?

👉 Buy your product?

Because if people don’t know what to do next…

They’ll do nothing.

And doing nothing doesn’t pay invoices.

The businesses that grow aren’t necessarily the smartest.

They’re the ones that consistently put themselves in front of the right people.

Over and over again.

So ask yourself today:

✔️ Where are my customers already gathering?

✔️ How can I get in front of them?

✔️ What opportunities am I overlooking?

✔️ Does every piece of marketing have a clear call to action?

Because every single dollar your business earns starts with somebody discovering that you exist.

And that only happens when you market.
