What Makes You Weird, is What Makes You Rich

Are you a bit of a weirdo?

Well, to SOME people you are.

We all are.

Identifying the thing that makes you a bit ‘weird’, could just be your magical key to substantial wealth and success.

Do you talk too fast?

A pole-dancing 70 year old?

Have a ‘different’ kind of appearance?

Talk about it!!!!

Dress ‘too feminine’ for a corporate office?

An overachiever?

Address the elephant in the room and make it your thing.

Is it your accent?

Make it part of your brand!

Some of the most popular viral YouTubers, influencers and business owners out there use the very thing that sticks out – the thing people comment on as ‘weird’, as the cornerstone of their brand’s uniqueness.

I started my business at age 19, and used to get little elbow nudges in corporate offices when I walked in…. the little blonde girl, so scared of being judged as a bimbo.

I used to dress down, be as masculine and ‘dull’ as possible to blend in and hope that made me get taken seriously.

Then one day, I decided to own WHO I was.

I threw the black and blue corporate clothes in the bin, let down my hair and put on my sparkling stilettos – and completely embraided WHO I was… as a result, my energy and expertise shone tahrough even more because I was honouring and owning myself and what others considered my ‘weird’.

Instead of letting them whisper, I shone a light on it and shouted about it myself.

Did I get their attention?

You bet I did.

And I always won the contract.

That’s the power of embracing what makes you unique.

What might feel like criticism, is your superpower. 🌟
