I’ve compared ChatGPT and Gemini side-by-side, and for my everyday workflows the results are honestly incomparable. I’m moving most of my day-to-day to Gemini… and here’s the reason.

👉 Reflect Today: Have you built a custom GPT… but you’re still doing far too much manual thinking, writing, and replying in your business?

1️⃣ Gemini Has “Gems” Which Are Basically Google’s Version of Custom GPTs

Inside Gemini, you’ll see a button called Explore Gems.
That’s where you can browse other people’s Gems or create your own.

3️⃣ Creating a Gem Is Almost Identical to Creating a Custom GPT
Inside Gemini:
– Click Explore Gems
– Click Create a New Gem (or Upgrade if you can’t see it)
– Name it (eg. “Sarah Cordiner Clone”)
– Add a description (just for you)
– Paste in your instructions (you can copy/paste your ChatGPT GPT instructions)

4️⃣ You Can Brain Dump Instructions and Get Gemini to Rewrite Them Properly
This is the magic part. Instead of overthinking the perfect prompt:
– Voice type your messy brain dump
– Then say: “Rewrite these instructions in the format Gems prefer.”
Boom. Clean, structured, ready to save.

5️⃣ You Can Upload Transcripts and Training Docs Straight From Google Drive
Because Gemini is connected to Google Workspace, you can search your Drive for files like:
“transcript”, “blog”, “SOP”, “training”, “Q&A”
Then upload them as the Gem’s knowledge base.

Important note: you can upload 10 attachments at a time (so you just add them in batches).

6️⃣ It Shows You Sources for Where It Pulled Information From
When the Gem replies, it can show the source files it referenced.
That means better accuracy, less hallucination, and easier fact-checking.

7️⃣ This Isn’t Just For Content, It’s For Operations and Support
This is where it gets properly exciting for business owners:
You can build Gems trained on:
– your SOPs
– your knowledge base
– your support documentation
– your FAQs
