BUT – Here’s the short version:

Sign up for Amazon Associates
Go to https://affiliate-program.amazon.com and click “Sign Up.” Use your existing Amazon account or create a new one.
Set up your profile
Add details about your blog, YouTube channel, social accounts, or wherever you’ll be sharing. Amazon just needs to know where you’ll promote links.
Enter payment and tax info
Choose how you’d like to get paid (bank deposit, gift card, or cheque). Add your tax details to stay compliant.
Create affiliate links
Search any product in your Amazon dashboard, click “Get Link,” and copy it. Paste that link into your blog, socials, YouTube, emails, or course materials.
Cloak your links
Use Tekmatix to make long, ugly Amazon URLs look clean. For example: yourdomain.com/ringlight instead of amazon.com/ugly-link.
Start sharing what you love
Think books, cameras, tripods, makeup, wellness products—anything you already use and recommend. Every click that leads to a purchase = your commission.
Earn commissions
You’ll get paid when someone makes a qualifying purchase. Amazon pays monthly once you hit the minimum threshold. Commissions vary by category.
Pro tips for success
– Add links to your YouTube video descriptions, lead magnets, and email signatures.
– Create a “Tools We Love” page on your Tekmatix website.
– Drop links into course modules and onboarding emails.
– Always disclose: “This is an affiliate link, which means I may earn a commission if you click and buy.”
