Strategic Planning For Success: How To Map Out Your 90-Day Plan to Reach Your Goals

One of the most important parts of hitting your big business goals isn’t just dreaming them up—it’s knowing exactly how many people you need to get in front of, and then making that your daily mission.

Step 1: Start with Your OBT

If your One Big Thing is to gain a certain number of subscribers, start every single day asking:

  • What am I doing today to get in front of that many people?
  • What am I doing this month to get there?
    This is where your 90-day plan comes into play—it’s not just about vague intentions, but measurable audience reach targets.

Step 2: Work Backwards from the Numbers

Example:
If your goal is 100 people per day for 90 days, that’s roughly 9,000 people over the quarter.
From there, you can break it into clear action projects:

  • Social Media: Post at least once a day to gain consistent visibility.
  • Email Marketing: Send regular emails with offers, content, and reminders to your list.
  • Speaking Opportunities: Seek out free speaking gigs, podcasts, summits, and collaborations.
  • Partnership Outreach: Connect with people who have lists or audiences you can present to.

Step 3: Build Your Calendar Around Audience Reach

Your calendar should guarantee that the actions to hit your reach targets happen:

  • Book time for content creation.
  • Schedule outreach blocks for collaborations and speaking pitches.
  • Plan regular audience growth activities into your marketing routine.
