They say that teaching a man how to fish will feed him for life…

…. but what if the fish come straight to you?!!

That’s what good marketing does.

I just published a Facebook post, sharing the top marketing methods that got me the most customers in 2025… and I thought I’d share it with you all in my blog community too so that you can steal all of my most successful marketing strategies for yourself 💜

Having just reviewed my marketing analytics for 2025, here are some of the activities that worked best for me – (and which ones flopped like a wet fish for me)…

1. Organic content, every single day

Helpful, educational social posts, images and videos daily, all with a clear call to action.

Google Analytics confirms organic traffic as my number one growth driver at over 70% of my leads.

This included around 80% business/topic content, and 20% fun/silly/personal/lifestyle content for the human relativity and connection element.

I pre-schedule all of my social content on the Tekmatix social media scheduler..

and advanced tip…. you can even get ChatGPT ‘Agent Mode’ to do all the Tekmatix social scheduling for you!

2. Email marketing to a warm, opted-in list

Consistent, valuable emails with a ‘PS’ style list of CTAs (calls to action) at the bottom.

Still one of the highest ROI strategies I’ve ever used.

You’ll see at the bottom of this email what I mean by a ‘PS’ list style of CTAs.

I schedule and send all of my emails from Tekmatix.

3. Free webinars

Teaching first, selling second.

I ran multiple free webinars every month (with an opt in form), which got me new leads and contacts on my list, built trust & authority… and filled my Legnds Lab coaching program effortlessly WITHOUT me even doing a sales pitch.

When you teach with full generosity – your education, services, products and offers sell themselves.

I run all of my webinar funnels, automations and hosting in Tekmatix, and use either Zoom or Streamyard to record the video (although Tekmatix also has an internal ‘zoom’ equivalent of its own built into the system!).

4. Paid workshops

High-value, implementation-focused workshop sessions that converted beautifully into longer-term programs, services and my software.

Again, all of my online workshops, courses, and training are all hosted in Tekmatix, along with all of my sales funnels and automations.

5. Speaking on real stages, in real rooms

In-person speaking to rooms full of my exact target audience.

Instant credibility, demonstrated expertise, and real human contact converts on average 25% of every room for me.

I have created a ‘Professional Speaker System’ of automations, one of which includes a ‘speaking outreach automation’ that helps me get booked for speaking gigs. I do all of this through Tekmatix (and I sell this professional speaker automation system).

6. Discoverable blogs built for AI and traditional search

SEO-optimised blogs that are now sending traffic from Google and AI search engines like ChatGPT, with tracked purchases to prove it.

Google Analytics now even has a referral line for AI-referred traffic, and ChatGPT alone has been sending me significant leads and sales already in the last 6 months.

You need blogs to be able to get AI to send you traffic.

You can do all of your blogging through Tekmatix.

7. Email signature marketing

Simple links in my everyday email footer driving enquiries, bookings and sales without any extra effort.

Weird, but it works.

8. Clear funnels and automated nurture sequences

Every offer connected to a system.

No dead ends. No “hope marketing”. The automations do all the nurturing and upselling for you.

I use Tekmatix for all of my automated lead nurturing and upselling.

9. Paid ads with upsells

The lowest of my conversion system is to cold traffic, but with proper funnels, the ads pay for themselves.

I use the ads manager inside Tekmatix to manage my ads (because I don’t understand the Meta ads manager at all 🤣🤣)

10. Active engagement in Facebook groups

Being present where my audience are asking questions and contributing helpful replies.

In one of my Legends Lab workshops last year, I taught how you can use ChatGPT ‘Agent Mode’ to get ChatGPT to go and find all of these conversations and automatically respond to all of them as you, so that you don’t have to.

11. Having an affiliate program

Rewarding people who recommend my businesses with affiliate commissions created a stream of leads and sales referred by my customers.

I manage my affiliate programme through Tekmatix.

12. Sharing real, unedited ‘behind the scenes’ videos of me working with clients

When working one-on-one with clients, I sought their permission to have a camera recording in hyperlapse (behind-the-scenes recording of us actually doing the work together).

EG, like this one.

Sharing these videos with a list of the results that we achieved together, 100% of the time got me at least 3 bookings from people who saw the video and wanted the same experience & results. No fancy filming or editing required.

13. Consistency over hype

Same message.

Same audience.

Same mission.

Repeated daily, over and over and over again.

What flopped like a dead fish (for me):

– Direct marketing (think DMs and cold outreach)

– paying to sponsor events

– paying to exhibit at events

Although these methods certainly did get me leads and sales, I’ve put them on my ‘poo pile’ for 2026 because event and conference organisers often don’t meet their obligations of the sponsorship contracts.

Additionally, from my perspective, any marketing that you can’t control or relies on other people, is a high-risk marketing method.
