How to Schedule Posts AND Comments on Your Facebook Personal Profile (The Hack That’s Saving Me Hours Right Now)

Alright, my busy business owners… who want to have a strong social presence, but NOT be stuck on social media alllll dayyy….. you’re going to love this one.

If you’ve been following me recently, you’ll know that right now thread posts (you know, those hook posts with 5–10 follow-up comments underneath) are absolutely dominating reach and engagement on Facebook personal profiles.

The problem?
On a personal profile you can’t schedule posts from desktop (only mobile… hello fat fingers and impossibly long edwards scissor-hands claws)….. And you definitely CANNOT schedule your comments from mobile…. (at the time of writing this blog)…

SOOOOO…….

That means if you want to use this style of ‘thread comment’ post (which you absolutely should, it’s crushing it for me and my buddies in the ‘1 Billion Facebook Views’ Challenge I’m in), you’re usually stuck either:

• Typing out your post on your phone, squinting and swiping away while you stab at the keyboard with your thumbs (ugh).
• Sitting there waiting for your post to go live so you can copy-paste your comments one by one in real time.

Neither of those is exactly CEO-level time management.

Aint nobody got time for that.

So let me share with you a scheduling hack I’m using that makes this whole process a thousand times easier – without having to add in or buy any other tool sor software.

Step 1: Open Your Phone on Your Desktop

If you’re using Windows, you’ve got a little gem called Phone Link already installed.

Just search for “Phone Link” in your desktop menu and connect your phone. (If you’re on Mac, don’t worry — there are similar tools you can use too.)

What this does is magical: it lets you mirror and control your phone screen from your computer.

Why is this a big deal?
Because when you open your Facebook app through your phone on desktop, you unlock features that the desktop browser version of Facebook doesn’t give you — like post scheduling on your personal profile.

And the best part? You can use your actual keyboard to type.

(If you’re anything like me, typing long posts on a phone screen is the definition of torture. I want speed, copy-paste power, and full keyboard clackity-clack efficiency…. with my nail-clicking sounds on my keyboard)…

Step 2: Schedule Your Post

Here’s how it works:

1. Open the Facebook app (through your mirrored phone on desktop).
2. Write your post.
3. Hit Next.
4. Now you’ll see a new option: Scheduling.
5. Pick the date and time, click schedule, and voila — your personal profile post is ready to go live exactly when you want it to.

Already you’re winning back your time. But here’s where the real magic happens…

Step 3: Pre-Schedule Your Comments (The Thread Hack)

We all know the power of a great hook + thread post.

The hook draws them in, the comments keep people scrolling, and each little nugget of value stacks up engagement and authority for you.

Every comment they open, gives you more engagement.

But what if you could schedule those comments at the same time as your post?

You can.

Here’s how:

• Once your post is scheduled, head into your Professional Dashboard on Facebook desktop.
• Click Content → Scheduled Content.
• Open up your scheduled post.
• Now you can start adding your comments in advance!

Yes, really. You can preload your entire thread — “Look here first,” points 1–10, your call to action, everything.

One important note: Facebook will publish them in the order you add them. So if you want them to appear as 1, 2, 3, 4 … make sure you paste them in exactly that order.

When your post goes live, your comments will cascade underneath, ready for maximum engagement without you lifting a finger in real time.

Step 4: Bonus Level ….. AI Agents Assistance

If you want to get even fancier, you could layer AI into this system.

Imagine having your own AI assistant drafting and preloading your comment threads for you. (Yes, that’s a thing).

Then take those same posts and schedule them to distrbute everywhere else on alll of your other social media profiels via the social media scheduler in Tekmatix.
