The Husbeast bought me a ‘Witchcraft’ book for my birthday this week, and I am most disappointed to share that there is no spell in it for: ‘instantly becoming a hot-mum-Victoria-Secrets-model, with a bajillion dollars in the bank’; so off to work we go!

Welcome to Behind the Business Day 4, where I share what I did, taught, and learned today to grow my business – so you can level-up too.

1. DO Something: Update Your Master Email Template

Email is still one of the most powerful tools in your marketing arsenal. If you’re not sending emails, you’re leaving money on the table — or worse, giving it to your competition.

Today, I updated my master email template to include a direct link to my events page. 

Why? Because every email I send now becomes an automated promotional tool for my upcoming workshops, as well as my other CTAs, without me lifting a finger.

Create or Update Your Master Email Template To Maximise Your Sales:

• Go to your email marketing software and create a branded email template (I use Tekmatix for all of my email marketing)
• Add a P.S. section to your master template that includes links to how you can help your audience.
• Add a highlight to your hero product so that it stands out and gets noticed

These tiny tweaks can make a huge difference to your sales. 

Better yet, automate your email marketing so that your lead nurturing and sales happen completely automatically for the rest of time.  I suggest having an automated welcome sequence and an RSS campaign that will send out all of your most recent blog or youtube posts auto-magically.

2. LEARN Something: Embed a Live Google Sheet Into a Web Page

While updating my 2025 calendar of events yesterday, I realised I wanted visitors to my events page to see live changes as I make updates.

Enter: embedding a live Google Sheet into a website! 

Good news: It’s totally doable – even if you are as tech-savvy as a potato.
I learned how to create a dynamic, embedded calendar that updates automatically as I tweak my event details. 

It’s perfect for keeping a live and updated file public on a website page – without having to re-upload constant manual updates.

And because I’m a sharer, I whipped up a quick YouTube video to show you exactly how to do this for your business too. 

3. TEACH Something: Automation and Tech Hacks to Scale Your Revenue

Today, I had the privilege of being the guest speaker and delivering a workshop to Jackson Millan’s high-income-earning entrepreneurs community.

I taught these successful entrepreneurs how they can multiply their wealth next year with my session on “10 Automation and Tech Hacks to Dramatically Scale Your Business Revenue in 2025”.

This was a private session, but I’m feeling like growing my list today (I bet you thought I was gonna say ‘being generous’, huh?!) …. 😂😂😂

Because life is for living, not just working, this afternoon I took one of my besties of over 30 years, who is visiting me from the UK, to Tamborine Mountain in Queensland.

Walking through the jungle canopy, spotting butterflies, critters and the occasional bin-lid-sized spider, was just the grounding I needed. 

Nature never fails to inspire me, hold me and uplift me.  Go get yourself outside for a walk today! Hopefully yours has less spiders than mine did!
